Nganhurra FPSO Disconnect

Vertech provided multi-disciplined marine class inspectors, NDT inspectors and lifting engineers to confirm the integrity of critical structures required for the disconnect and tow. Simultaneously, over multiple campaigns, our maintenance and IRATA rope access trades personnel (prepared the asset for the FPSO disconnect and decommissioning phase.

Vertech personnel successfully and safely supported the integrity and inspection work to allow engineering assessment and to meet all compliance requirements. Our high-mobility rope access tradesman supported numerous tasks, including the removal of some tertiary steelwork, the removal of some ancillary equipment, and some strengthening work, which ultimately led to the safe tow away out of Australian waters.
