Late last year, one of very own, Paul Lavender, was elected the President of AINDT’s WA branch. Paul has been a valued member of the Vertech team over the last 5 years, especially in his role as Business Services Manager.
Paul has been a devoted member of the NDT community for several years. Originally starting his NDT journey within the UK, Paul soon ventured to WA, having joined AINDT as a general member in 2015.
“I have been involved in the NDT industry for a number of years and specifically with AINDT for 7 years. It is an honour to be the President of the WA Branch of AINDT and I look forward to engaging with the members to assist in providing the best service possible here in WA.”

Paul’s appointment is especially exciting for us as he joins another one of our Group members at AINDT, Irene Pettigrew, the federal Vice-President of the leading certification and membership body. The addition of both Paula and Irene to AINDT shows how committed our staff here at Vertech are to their fields of work. Furthermore, it shows their willingness to give back to their industry, ensuring that NDT technicians throughout Australia receive the correct support.
